Adviser To Staff
Welcome to the Adviser to Staff's homepage.
The Adviser to Staff at The Australian National University is the on-campus provider of professional counselling and advice to all staff, on work-related or personal matters. This is a free and confidential service.
The Adviser to Staff provides confidential services to assist staff to deal with work-related issues and personal issues that may be affecting their work and can provide advice to managers and work groups on ways of assisting staff affected by work-related or personal issues. The Adviser can also help with developing strategies for dealing with workplace issues causing difficulties or tension.
The Adviser to Staff can also provide an informal, work-related mediation service that can be of assistance with dispute resolution or problem-solving in the workplace.
The ANU also contracts to two independent external providers of counselling and advice. Staff can choose between the services and go directly to either the on campus or external providers. For more information about these services, check the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Website.
