Developing skills for improved concentration, motivation and mood, among others, makes academic success all the more achievable. This lecture is an introduction to get you started straight away on using these ideas to reach your goals for academic success.
Riding The Wave: Resisting Panic Attacks

In this workshop we will share and discuss ways of responding to anxiety. We will also practice some tried and true techniques that others have found helpful.
Managing Procrastination

Preparing For Exams
This workshop is offered jointly by the Academic Skills and Learning Centre and Counselling Centre.

A single session 2 hour workshop
12.00pm – 2.00pm on Tuesday 26 May

The first half of this program will focus on the practical skills involved in exam preparation and performance eg: ways to study effectively, and ways to approach different exam questions. The second half of the program will discuss ways of managing stress and anxiety so that you can do your best work.
